What is RULLA?

RULLA Sports Empowerment was founded by former professional soccer player Rashawn Dally.
The name “RULLA” comes from the Jamaican Patois word for “ruler.” Rashawn’s father, a professional soccer player in Jamaica during the 1980s, was known for his ability to control the game from midfield. Fans said he “ruled the game,” and that is where the name was born.
Today, RULLA represents helping athletes become the ruler of their own lives — developing the discipline, awareness, and confidence needed to grow both in sport and beyond it.​

FOUNDER

I’m Rashawn Dally, founder of RULLA Sports Empowerment and former professional soccer player.
Sport has had a profound impact on my life, and RULLA was created from a desire to help the next generation grow not only as athletes, but as people.
Throughout my journey, I encountered tools that shaped me both on and off the field — technical training, discipline, mindfulness, reflection, emotional growth, and intentional living.
Today, my mission is to create environments where athletes are challenged, supported, and empowered to pursue excellence without losing connection to who they are.
